Truly, Christmas is a season for gifts and giving! Through our past alumni and their affiliated industries, the department endeavors to uphold its annual gift giving activity to somehow spread the spirit of generosity and happiness to its stakeholders.
The 2022 UPLB Industrial Engineering Gift Giving Activity was held last December 16-18, 2022. This year, the activity was made possible by the very generous donation of Reckitt Benckiser Inc. Philippines, specifically the Reckitt Benckiser Hygiene team, thru our former alumni, Ms. Mylene Larin-Valencia, who donated boxes of Mortein NaturGuard Flying Insect Killer Spray, Lysol Antibacterial Hand Soap (2 variants) and Lysol Antibacterial Multi-surface Wipes.
Recipients of the gifts include IE faculty and staff, personnel from other CEAT units, students, alumni, industry partners, and other guests. Most of the gifts were given during the 2022 CEAT Christmas Party, while others were brought to other CEAT units for dissemination.
The Department of Industrial Engineering, along with its stakeholders and other CEAT units, would like to extend its gratitude to Reckitt Benckiser Inc. Philippines and Ms. Mylene Larin-Valencia, for their whole hearted support for this annual gift giving activity. Kudos!
